A driver traveling at a speed of 115km/hr received a text message on his mobile phone. How far is he, in kilometers, 20s later from when he received the text?

Solution

speed = 115km/hr;  time, t = 20s, (20s = 20/3600hr), distance s = ?

Distance = Speed x Time 

 = 115km/hr  x 20hr/3600

 = 2300/3600

 = 0.639km
