QUESTIONS 58. A ball is thrown vertically upwards with a speed of 20m/s. Calculate the maximum height reached. (g= 10m/s²)
NECO 2008 Ans: 20.0m
SOLUTIONS
Initial velocity u = 0
h = ut + ½gt²
V² = u² - 2gh
0² = 20² - 2(10)h
0 = 400 - 20h
400 = -( -20)h
h = 400/20
h = 20.0m ANSWER
