Questions 53. A car starts from rest and accelerate uniformly at the rate of 5.0m/s². Calculate it's magnitude of its velocity after moving through 100m
NECO 2007; Ans : 31.62m/s
SOLUTIONS
Initial velocity u =0
Acceleration a = 5.0m/s²
Distance s = 100m/s
V² = u² + 2as
V² = 0² + 2(5)(100)
V² = 10 X 100
V² = 1000
V = √1000
V = 32.623m/s ANSWER
